Beautillion

The Beautillion
The Henry Arthur Callis Beautillion Academy is a six-month long mentoring and scholarship program for African-American male high school seniors.  During the year, teens are involved in social and academic programs to enrich their high school experience, and prepare them for a college career.  The program culminates in a formal gala for the beaux, highlighting their academic and social training.

If you are interested in participating in the 2009-2010 Beautillion Academy, you must attend an information session on Sunday October 25th 2009 at 2:00 PM.  This year’s Open House will be held in the Noyes Elementary School - Auditorium, 2725 10th Street N.E., Washington, DC 20018.

Interviews will be conducted at the second workshop.  Students who miss the first two workshops will not be eligible to participate in the Beautillion.
Workshops Starting in October, the Beaux participate in weekly workshops designed to enhance their academic development, health and physical development, social and economic development, and professional and personal development.

Each workshop will be held in the Cramton Auditorium at the Howard University. Please contact via email, Mr. Mark Ross, if you have any questions: rossmarka@aol.com
